Entitled 'The Impossible Layer', the developers employ a state-changing mechanic that recalls The Impossible Lair and its level layouts which alter depending on your actions (water might flood a level and change things up, for example). To celebrate the release, the team have been playing again - Nintendo of America's official Twitter account has shared a special course celebrating Yooka and Laylee's return. Of course, as with all devs who have just shipped a game, they're probably still glued to their workstations addressing minor issues and generally buffing the game to the Nth degree, but we hope they get some well-deserved time off.
